    Along with an email early warning notification, this will allow both councils to monitor rising water levels and alert our drainage contractors to respond to any surface water flooding.... We are excited to be working with Aquasition to pilot this technology which aims to improve road safety for our residents and businesses in Sutton.... The scheme will notify our teams in advance about any rising water levels which may occur, supporting them to take early intervention to stop any surface water flooding.

    We expressed our concern about the government’s original decision to instruct 10 boroughs, including Kingston, to reopen, while other London boroughs, some with lower rates, were being told to remain closed.... We are dismayed at the way the government has handled this situation and recognise that this has caused a great deal of worry for parents and carers, children, and for teachers and school staff in our borough’.... However, we are confident that our schools, as always, will do everything they can to support Kingston’s children.
