  • Coronation Parade

    Organised by Kingston Council, All Saints Church, Kingston Music Service and the Rose Theatre, the parade will gather in the Ancient Market Place, Kingston town centre,  at 2.45pm on Sunday 7 May 2023.... Drawing upon the borough’s association with previous coronations, the parade begins with a fanfare and a Town Crier who proclaims it is the year 925 and the crowning of King Athelstan in Kingston.
