Kingston’s performance in 2012 as measured by successful completion of drug treatment was below the London average for both opiate (8.0% compared with 9.6%) and non opiate drug users (28.4% compared with 34.7%)24.... There are 283 adult drug users recorded as being in effective treatment in Kingston; 215 of which are opiate users and 68 non-opiate users25.
