    A jury made up of industry experts, community stakeholders and the council then used the local feedback received and other success criteria to choose the winning scheme.... As someone who has helped maintain the space outside Kingston Environment Centre for several years, I am very pleased with the winning design in that the ‘berms’ will provide an effective screen from the busy road, existing planting will be maintained and materials used will be as sustainable as possible.

  • Party Animal by Alex Davies MRSS, winner of 2021 Kingston Sculpture Trail, permanently installed in Kingston Market Place

    Local residents and visitors were asked to vote for their favourite and almost 1700 people responded to the voting survey, with Davies’ sculpture winning 51% of the vote.... It’s been a great experience being involved in the Kingston Sculpture Trail, made all the better by the positive feedback I have had and of course winning the vote.
