    I volunteer for Kingston young carers, I am a young carer, for me it means giving back what I got to other young carers and making a difference to their lives.... I was honoured to be part of the awards and it was amazing to see some of the contributions people had made to our borough and what it meant to them to receive an award for their outstanding achievements.... I can’t remember seeing so many faces with genuine smiles for a very long time.

    I work with children and young people some of whom are medically vulnerable.... I decided to have testing to reduce the risk of passing on the virus to the children and families that I work with, and to provide reassurance to those I come in contact with.... I feel responsible for keeping myself well and virus-free.
