    This White Ribbon Day Kingston Council is pledging its continuing support to the campaign to end male violence against women and girls (VAWG).... It’s just over two years since the council achieved White Ribbon accreditation, with a plan to empower its staff to play their part in ending violence against women and girls.... At the South West London Safer Streets conference earlier this year the borough launched its Women’s Night Safety Charter to support women to feel safer when out in the borough in the evening.

  • Kingston town centre invests in happy spaces

    I am really excited that this project will transform these two spaces in the town centre into lovely, accessible places where you can sit down, relax and enjoy being outdoors.... If Covid has taught us anything, it is how precious our green and open spaces are to the whole community so I hope we hear from as many voices as possible.... Each space has its own set of existing challenges and it’s our mission to turn these into opportunities.
