    Kingston’s Public Health team devised the initiative, which will go live imminently, after analysis revealed a significant proportion of the cases its local contact tracing team was unable to reach were currently in hospital.... People across Kingston have made huge sacrifices to help us reduce the spread of COVID-19, and I am incredibly appreciative of all their efforts.... Alongside the hospital pilot, Kingston Council is also introducing its own three month pilot of a 'Stay Home Support' voucher scheme for people on low incomes who may face financial hardship if they have to self isolate.

  • Plans for Unilever’s global headquarters approved by Kingston Council

    Unilever, the company behind brands including Persil, Dove and Marmite, intends to consolidate its workforce from five existing sites in London and Surrey in the new site by winter 2023/24, bringing 2,000 jobs into Kingston town centre.... The news that a global brand like Unilever is pledging its future to Kingston with such a significant development is a great endorsement of that vision and testament to the opportunities they see here.  ... I am delighted that the plans for Eden Campus have been approved.
