    If you are joint tenants you have the right to apply jointly, and can still do so even if one of the joint tenants is not living at the property as their only or principal home....     The council initiative, developed in collaboration with Kingston Hospital, is one of nine local authority schemes across the country to receive funding from the Department for Health and Social Care (DHSC) to trial creative ways of supporting people who need to self isolate, to reduce transmission of the virus.... The scheme is aimed specifically at people who, for one reason or another, do not qualify for current national £500 support payments.

  • Changes to marriage registration

    There will no longer be any provision to give the notice to marry in countries that were formerly covered by these acts and therefore transitional arrangements will apply to couples who have already given notice to marry here or in one of the relevant countries after the implementation date.... For BSFA notices given in advance of the implementation date, for a marriage in one of the counties covered by these acts, an Authority may still issue their certificate, subject to the usual caveats about marrying in these countries.
