    At Kingston History Centre, we have a mission to record both the highs and the lows of the borough’s history so that Kingston communities’ experiences can form a collective memory to be kept for future generations.... As part of this we have a duty to archive records created by the Royal Borough of Kingston Council, but we also collect the records of local charities, organisations and businesses, schools, interest groups, important events and individuals.... We are looking to collect material from all communities across the borough so that the collection represents the diverse range of communities living, studying and working in Kingston.

    We are all working extremely hard to support our children and young people with SEND and their families and are delighted we are able to offer more places at these excellent provisions.”... There has been massive progress and we see children benefit greatly from experiencing opportunities alongside their mainstream peers, with the added benefit of a safe secure environment to retreat to when things become more difficult or overwhelming in the busier hustle and bustle of mainstream education....   • Kingston Council welcomes the Metropolitan Police’s announcement of increased visibility in the town centre

    I am proud of our local police force and the incredible work they do to keep us safe, but we know that resources have been limited, and we have been calling for increased police presence.... We understand how important safety is for residents.... For example, we are working with Kingston Race and Equalities Council around hate crime and Kingston Council is also carrying out a year long programme to address the safety of women and girls in the borough.
