    Once we have received your Commencement Notice, and if payment is due, we will issue what is known as a demand notice (similar to an Invoice for payment).... However, once we have located this payment, we will generate a payment acknowledgement or receipt and send this to you for your records.... If fully settled, we will also remove the CIL charge from the Local Land Charges Register.

    At COP27, UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres has warned we are ‘on the highway climate hell with our foot on the accelerator’ and that what we do in the next few years will determine whether we have a liveable planet in the future, for our children and grandchildren.... We know Kingston residents are very anxious about the situation but it can feel overwhelming - and that’s where Kingston Hive comes in.... Joining together is going to be essential as we face the climate and ecological emergency.

  • Annual Housing report

    The cost of the living crisis is far from over and we can help many more people as we head into the coming winter.... We are very pleased that post-pandemic we have been able to resume face to face services with residents and we have redesigned the housing management service to better serve our community.... Residents’ Association member Mary Parmar said: ‘We were very pleased with the positive feedback from both residents and local councillors and we hope that we can arrange this again.’

    At Kingston Council we believe that everybody deserves an equal chance in life, and we are proud of our high ambitions to be as inclusive as possible.... To mark the day, this year taking place on 3 December, we spoke to Mariza Jurgens, the first visually impaired charity manager of Kingston Association for the Blind.... Earlier this year, we held a Disability Awareness Day in the Market Square, to hear and learn from a number of groups.
