    The Environment Trust has historically been responsible for managing the site.... The site has historically been managed as part of the Higher Level Stewardship agreement with Natural England, which has included an annual hay cut of the grassland as well as woodland management which has been conducted by Red Kite and Lower Mole Project.... An owl box has also been installed on one of the pedunculate oaks.
