    Architecture students from Kingston School of Art have teamed up with Kingston Council to create a new conversation space for communities to share their views on the borough’s future.... It has recently been used to support the Council’s consultation on the first draft of the new Local Plan and is now being used to seek people’s views on the vision for the Kingston town centre area.... The space is the result of a joint project also involving the Kingston Society, the North Kingston Neighbourhood Forum, Chessington District Residents' Association and New Malden Residents’ Association.

    To progress as swiftly as possible with the building work, the school needs to be provided with a new drainage connection.... Due to the discovery of a collapsed manhole, a section of Burlington Road directly at the front of Park House needs to be fully closed during this period to enable Thames Water to rebuild the collapsed manhole prior to the new connection being made.... This will no longer be possible as we need to excavate the road to create the new drainage connection, and the gate will need to be closed.
