  • Cleaner, greener bus fleet for Kingston

    Transport for London has confirmed all of its bus routes through Kingston now meet the Euro VI compliance requirements, bar one vehicle which will be retrofitted by the end of October.... Assembly members listened to expert evidence and one of their recommendations was for ‘urgent investment in greener and accessible transport and infrastructure for all'.... This is wonderful news for our borough with the vast improvements this makes to the quality of the air we all breathe.

The developed design aims to respect the space as a garden of memory and its cultural significance for commemoration and ceremony, whilst improving connectivity, safety, and inclusivity, to ensure the space is welcoming to all residents and visitors....     The Financial Inclusion Team offers a service to all Kingston Council tenants who may be experiencing difficulties paying their rent and managing their money.... Our service operates an open referral system for council tenants in rent arrears.The team endorses a preventative approach and contacts all new tenants in receipt of Universal Credit.... All referrals are allocated a financial inclusion expert who will undertake a financial assessment, focusing on benefit entitlement and budgeting.
