Activities include coronation-themed afternoon tea at our libraries, a coronation exhibition at Kingston’s History Centre and tour guides around our royal borough....     This Hate Crime Awareness Week, I want to reaffirm our ambition to be a supportive and safe borough for all.... Our whole community has a part to play in ensuring hate crime isn't tolerated in our borough.... Inclusive Kingston’, our Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Strategy identifies a continuing need to work with our partners and communities to understand and monitor hate crime and support those affected - and we will continue to actively work with partners and communities to challenge all forms of hate crime in the borough.

    Making sure Kingston is a borough where the most vulnerable are well looked after and feel safe, where everyone from all our diverse communities is valued, where our green spaces are protected, and young people can access an excellent education and have a great start to adult life will be our focus.... We will take the bold steps needed to protect our climate, working towards carbon neutrality by 2030, planting more trees, providing more electric vehicle charging points and investing in our parks and green spaces.... We will continue to listen to our residents and work closely with them to secure the very best future for everyone in our borough.

  • Kingston comes together with partners to launch its Biodiversity Partnership

    The Partnership will play a crucial part of our Biodiversity Action Plan which aims to safeguard and enhance the borough's biodiversity in the face of climate change and protect our natural environment.... There were also a number of presentations showcasing biodiversity projects across the borough - including our commitment to improving the Hogsmill, enhancing our hedgehog population and rewilding Tolworth Court Farm....     Our new 2023 workshops are now available!... Our Kingston Story at Kingston Museum - Key Stage 1... We brought 8 children from two separate specicialist provisions we have in our school and the workshop was very inclusive for them.
