Walking Tour of Kingston’s Inns, Past and Present

Join Brian Sullivan, attendant to the Mayor of Kingston and local amateur historian, on a special walking tour to discover the history of some of Kingston’s inns, past and present.

This unique tour will start with a welcome drink and introductory talk in the Mayor’s Parlour in the Guildhall, itself part of Kingston’s rich history. The group will then move on to the ancient market place and riverside, where Brian will regale you with information and anecdotes on some of our current public houses, as well as the inns of days gone by.

Tickets cost £20 per person (over 18’s only).

“ But where is the beer?” I hear you cry.

The answer is, another drink is waiting at the end of our trail, when you will receive a nice cold beer/lager, wine or soft drink to refresh you after your walk, the cost of which is included in your ticket price.

This event is in aid of The Mayor’s Charitable Trust, which in 2023-24 is supporting two local charities: Voices of Hope & Kingston Charitable Foundation.

The booking form above will ask for attendee name/s and how you wish to pay.  The form will take group bookings for up to 4 people.  If you wish to book for a group of 5 or more places please email: mayors.office@kingston.gov.uk
