Welcome to the beta version of the new Kingston Council website
Thank you for using our new beta website, which is in its final development phase.
If you have any comments or suggestions, feel free to share them with us using this feedback form.
Our goal is to redesign the Kingston Council website to not only meet the needs of residents, but also to encourage and inspire them to get involved and be part of the borough and our community.
We have engaged with residents, staff and councillors to better understand how we can improve the user journeys and the overall website experience.
Following on from this feedback, we have made many improvements to the site.
Some of the changes include:
- Streamlined website content
- User focussed website structure
- Reorganised website navigation
- Improved search functionality
- Accessible design and colour palettes
We have also rebuilt the processes for the most popular actions, such as reporting fly-tipping or requesting a new waste container. This will ensure a simpler online experience and enhance the overall user journey.
We have also added new online forms to the site, so you can easily engage with us online, rather than needing to call or email.
The new website also complies with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 standards to ensure we support all of our users who have special access needs.
Our aim is to improve the site to meet both the current and future needs of everyone.
Please get in touch and let us know your thoughts using this feedback form. We can’t wait to hear from you!
