Nominate a local hero for the Mayor’s Community Awards
Do you know a community champion? Someone who goes above and beyond to help others, or maybe a trailblazing young volunteer? If you do, now’s your chance to make sure their hard work is recognised.
Nominations are now open for the Mayor of Kingston’s annual Community Awards, where we get the chance to celebrate the inspiring residents who make a positive impact in our borough.
Cllr Liz Green, Mayor of Kingston, said:
“In my time as Mayor so far, I have met so many incredible, selfless individuals, so I’m incredibly excited that we get this opportunity to formally celebrate their outstanding contributions to our borough.
If you do know a local hero, please take a moment to nominate them for the Mayor’s Community Awards.”
The deadline to nominate someone for this year’s Community Awards is midday on Thursday, 6 February.
Nominations should be submitted via the Community Award’s online nomination form. If you are unable to submit your nomination online, please call the Mayor’s Office on 07759 717579 or 020 8547 5030 (Monday to Friday, 10am to 4pm).
The Award Ceremony will take place on Monday, 17 March, from 5.45 - 7.45 pm, in the Council Chamber, Guildhall.
