Lorraine Dunstone elected to Kingston Council in Hook and Chessington North by-election

Lorraine Dunstone of the Liberal Democrats has been elected to Kingston Council in the Hook and Chessington North by-election (Thursday 4 July 2024).

Cllr Dunstone replaces Liberal Democrat Stephanie Archer, who stood down earlier this year. She will join Lib Dem Councillors Afi Afilaka and Sue Ansari in representing Hook and Chessington.

Cllr Dunstone won 2,278 votes, ahead of Glenda Borg-Darcy of the Conservatives (1,293 votes), Labour’s Kezia Coleman (773 votes) and Lucy Howard of the Green Party (434).

The by-election saw a turnout of 59.9%.
