Kingston’s Efficient Homes Show returns for a second year!
The council teams up with Kingston Chamber of Commerce and Kingston Green Business Community again to help residents and businesses cut energy use, move to low carbon travel and protect the planet.
Over 400 people signed up to attend the first Efficient Homes Show in May 2023, and this year it’s set to be even bigger and better.
For a second year the event is free to attend and offers a unique chance for people to speak with local businesses and experts about ways to make their properties energy efficient, swap to healthier travel options and save money while protecting the environment.
Attendees will be able to find out about installations and grants for solar panels, insulation, heat pumps, ventilation, triple glazing, electric vehicle chargers and much more.
This year, the show will also feature a section dedicated to bicycles, e-bikes, cargo bikes and a bike repair and security marking service.
There will also be a number of talks and workshops which attendees can attend on the day.
Councillor Ian Manders, Portfolio Holder for Climate Action and Sustainable Transport said:
“After last year’s success, Kingston’s Efficient Homes Show returns to provide the local venue for people to learn how to improve their homes, switch to cheaper and healthier travel options and contribute to a greener future”.
The Efficient Homes Show is open to everyone, whether you’re a homeowner, renting, a landlord, business owner, letting agency or student. It's a great way to find out about practical proven technology and grants and other finance.
The event will take place between 10am and 3pm at Hollyfield School in Surbiton on Saturday 18 May 2024. Refreshments will be available.
Tickets are free and can be booked via the council's Eventbrite Page.
