Final opportunity to apply for Kingston Community Resilience Funding
Kingston Council has opened the third and final phase of its Community Resilience Fund for applications.
Applications open from 3 January - 12 February 2024
Today Kingston Council has opened the third and final phase of its one-year £720,000 Community Resilience Fund.
Launched on 18 April 2023, the fund was created as part of the council’s 2023-24 budget to support community and voluntary organisations through the current economic crisis and continue the vital work they do in supporting Kingston’s residents and communities across the borough.
So far over 70 organisations have been awarded funding for projects across the borough in the first two funding phases.
For the final phase, once again, organisations will be able to apply for three types of funding. Grants of up to £3,000 will be available for core costs such as rent and energy bills, up to £5,000 for small projects to maintain or develop a community resilience response, or up to £20,000 to develop a new approach.
Funding is awarded based on how the organisation or response supports the borough to be resilient.
