Local student wins the Mayor’s Christmas card competition

The winner is Kara Cosunji, in year 1 at Corpus Christi School in New Malden. She and her family were recently invited for afternoon tea at the Mayor’s parlour, where a framed copy of her card was presented to Kara. 

At the visit, Kara's family noted that Kara came up with the design entirely by herself and that they are very proud of her. 

To say thank you and well done, the Mayor also invited the five runners up from the competition to the parlour to receive their certificates in person and sent certificates to those children whose entries were highly commended via their schools. You can see their names below:
