Residents invited to have their say in review of borough’s polling stations

Kingston Council is conducting a review of the polling stations within the borough.

To try and ensure that Kingston's polling venues meet the needs of voters, changes to the polling stations to be used at all elections and referendums held within the borough have been proposed in the following wards:

  • Coombe Vale Ward
  • Green Lane and St James Ward
  • Kingston Town Ward
  • Old Malden Ward

The polling places proposed in all other wards remain unchanged.

The council is particularly looking for feedback from residents with a disability, and from individuals or organisations who have experience in making facilities accessible, particularly for people with disabilities.

Anyone commenting on the suitability of existing or proposed polling places is also invited to suggest alternative venues, where possible.

Comments on the proposals should be made in writing by 9 November via the online survey, emailing electoral.services@kingston.gov.uk or writing to Electoral Services, Guildhall, Kingston upon Thames, KT1 1EU until 9 November 2023.

The full  proposals  are available to read on our Let’s Talk page, with hard copies provided at all libraries in the borough.
