Remembrance Sunday in Chessington

For those of you who have lived in Chessington for a number of years, you will know that Remembrance Sunday is an important date in our annual calendar, supporting the National day of Remembrance. 

Church Lane in Chessington will be closed to traffic between Stokesby Road and Green Lane between 10:50am and 11:10am in order to enable those who wish to pay their respects at the War Memorial, and observe the National 2 minute silence.

Temporary Traffic Notices are in force from 7am on Sunday 12 November across all areas where Remembrance Services will take place. During the times of all road closures for the four events across RBK all parking will be suspended. If you have a parked car in an affected area please ensure it is moved before 7am.
