Work Match is a programme to help unemployed residents in Kingston secure new jobs, apprenticeships and training roles, working with businesses across the borough. Work Match also offers local businesses a free, professional and tailored recruitment service, matching them with local candidates.

To help address the needs and challenges of 2020, Microsoft has launched a global skills initiative aimed at bringing more digital skills to 25 million people worldwide in 2020. This includes free business, creative and technology courses  to support employers to skill and reskill their staff.

As part of the government’s Plan for Jobs, the Kickstart Scheme aims to create thousands of new, fully funded jobs by offering funding to employers to create new job roles that will help the young person build experience and move towards sustained employment.
