The Good Energy Club

The Good Energy Club is a programme for adults 18 years and over with mental health needs. The aim of the programme is to increase levels of physical activity to improve health and wellbeing through a varied programme of easy and fun exercise options such as dance, yoga and walking. All activities are free or low cost and are held at various times for your convenience.

Don’t worry if you are new to exercise or just getting back into it, as the programme is supported by volunteers and buddies to help you get underway, assist you with any concerns and support you throughout.

To join the Good Energy Club or if you are interested in becoming a volunteer to provide support to those with mental health needs, call Lesley on 020 8546 6713 or 07772 920416 or email rosie.kavanagh@hestia.org

Library Services

Kingston libraries and Mind in Kingston have created a collection of 150 self help books for adults and young people which aim to help people with mild to moderate mental health problems learn more about their conditions and provide steps to overcoming their symptoms and regaining their lives.

The collection at Kingston Library has been put together by Mind in Kingston using the national initiative, Books on Prescription, and is freely available to reserve and borrow by anyone through the borough libraries.
