What are the benefits and issues with AI? Artificial intelligence is portrayed alternately as the solution to all our ills and the thing that will bring our final demise as a species. But what exactly is it, and what questions does it raise not only about our use of it as a tool, but also about what it means to be human? Job displacement, ethical concerns about bias and privacy, security risks from hacking, a lack of human-like creativity and empathy.
