THINK GREEN - Green Groceries

THINK GREEN is a series of bite size webinars to help businesses understand growth opportunities in the green economy.

As an universal errand, grocery shopping collectively holds a large impact on our environment. We are becoming more aware of buying sustainable products as we become more eco-conscious of our carbon footprint. It is also easy to be quite overwhelmed by the number of food choices out there.

In this new THINK GREEN webinar, we will discuss with people working in this field, what opportunities are created for the grocery sector to innovate and grow.

• What opportunities are there for setting up new businesses, growing and diversifying existing businesses while reducing harm on the environment and making a positive social and economic impact?

• How we, as businesses and individuals, make more informed decisions as we consider the sustainability of our supply chain and weekly shopping items and contribute to the local economy through our business and everyday routines?

This programme is led by Kingston Council and supported by Kingston Chamber of Commerce.
