Kingston's clue quest

On the afternoon of Saturday 6th July 2024 discover some hidden habitat and heritage gems as you walk around Kingston from The Queens Promenade to Canbury Gardens.

This is a fun 4km walk where you will be asked to find the answers to clues and take a set number of photos (all in aid of the Mayor’s Charitable Trust which in 2024-25 is supporting the charity: Habitats & Heritage.

Tickets cost £10 per person (suggested team size is 4-6)

Allocated registration time slots are available: from 12.30pm to 1pm (latest 1.15pm if needed due to number of teams taking part)

Book your tickets

The booking form will ask you how many people are taking part (in your team) and how you wish to pay.

What’s included:-

  • tea or coffee & piece of cake at the end of the walk (kindly supported by The Boaters Inn)
  • a Kingston clue quest booklet (one per team) to include:
  • a route guide/instructions plus accessible alternative route guidance
  • interesting facts as you walk the route
  • questions and answer sheet
  • a prize for the overall winners (A tie-breaker question may be required at the end so be as observant as possible as you walk around).

What you need to bring:

  • 1 mobile phone or digital camera per team to take a few photos (to be shown to the judges when you also hand in your answer sheet at the end of the walk)
  • suitable footwear, clothing and sunscreen/umbrella (depending on the weather conditions)
