Available Funding
Great British Insulation Scheme
Department for Energy Security and Net Zero
The Great British Insulation Scheme is administered by Ofgem, formerly known as the ECO+ scheme. You can get fully funded or part-funded home insulation.
To qualify, your home must:
-
have an EPC rating of D to G
-
be in council tax bands A to D in England, or A to E in Scotland and Wales
You may be able to get support to install:
-
cavity wall insulation
-
loft insulation
You may be able to get support to install other types of insulation. It is designed to deliver improvements to the least energy-efficient homes in Great Britain to tackle fuel poverty and help reduce energy bills.
The scheme is available to homeowners, landlords and tenants. If you rent your home, speak to your landlord and get their permission before you apply. You don’t apply for the grant directly. Your energy supplier will apply for funding on your behalf.
Check if you can get support on the Government website. You can find out more about the scheme on the Ofgem website.
