Upcoming Elections & Elections Act

Parliamentary Boundary Changes

Following the review of the Boundary Commission for England, new parliamentary constituency boundaries were implemented in November 2023, with The Royal Borough of Kingston Upon Thames being divided between three parliamentary constituencies; Kingston and Surbiton, Richmond Park and Wimbledon.

This change was made because the number of registered voters in each constituency in England must be between 69,724 and 77,062.

Motspur Park and Old Malden East, as well as parts of New Malden Village, Green Lane & St James and Old Malden are now part of the Wimbledon parliamentary constituency.

Coombe Hill, Kingston Gate, Tudor and a small section of Coombe Vale are part of the Richmond Park constituency.

Residents voting in a different constituency in any general election remain part of the The Royal Borough of Kingston Upon Thames and will continue to vote in any Kingston Council local elections and should direct any council related enquiries to Kingston Council, however, your parliamentary representative will change.
