This is a digital skills qualification course either for learners progressing from Entry 3 or for those who are assessed as being ready to go stratight to a Level 1 course. The purpose of this qualification is to allow learners to demonstrate
understanding of, and competency in, the essential digital skills they need for life and work. It will enable learners to engage with digital services and products in everyday life and work. - What will I learn?

This qualification aims to focus on the study of digital skills, offer breadth and depth of study, incorporating a key core of knowledge
and skills and provide opportunities to acquire a number of essential digital skills.The objectives of this qualification are to:
• build digital skills for everyday life
• build digital skills for work - What are the entry requirements?

You must be aged 19 or over (as at 31st August 2024), be a UK resident and assessed as ready to do level 1.
You will need a sufficient level of English to be able to follow the curriculum and complete any course work.
Please also be sure you have enough time each week to attend all classes and to complete any homework assignments outside of class.
If you live within Greater London, you will need to have the right to live in the UK for at least 12 months from the start date of the course.
If you live outside of the Greater London area, you will need to have lived in the UK for the past three years and also have the right to live in the UK for the duration of your course.
- What do I need to bring with me to class?

Please bring a pen, note paper or note book, and a folder to store any handouts.
You do not need to have your own digital devices as these will be provided for you to use while you are on the course. However, if you have your own smartphone, you may like to bring it so that you can practise with it during the classes.
- What can I do after my course has finished?

You can use your digital skills to sign up for many of our courses which are delivered via online learning.
