This qualification aims to develop your knowledge and understanding of the key principles of information, advice or guidance and applying these within their own context. The objectives of this qualification are to prepare you for further training and to support a role where you may be able to provide initial information, advice or guidance to others

You must be aged 19 or over (as at 31st August 2024) and be a UK resident.
Please also be sure you have enough time each week to attend all classes and to complete any homework assignments outside of class. Please ensure you have a suitable and distraction free environment from which to join your online lessons.
You will need to have appropriate levels of English and Maths skills in order to produce assignments necessary for this course. You must have achieved an English Language and Maths Level 1 qualification or above. You will be asked to provide your certificates during the Course Approval Assessment. You must also be competent in the use of ICT in order to complete unit assignments and access course information provided online. You will also need to have achieved the L1 AAT Bookkeeping qualification and will need to show evidence.
If you live within Greater London, you will need to have the right to live in the UK for at least 12 months from the start date of the course.
If you live outside of the Greater London area, you will need to have lived in the UK for the past three years and also have the right to live in the UK for the duration of your course.
- What do I need to bring with me to class?

Please bring a pen, note paper or note book, and a folder to store any handouts.
This course has some elements delivered online, so you will need access to a computer or laptop and an internet connection. (Please note that a smartphone or tablet will not be suitable)
If you do not have the necessary IT equipment, you can still apply for the course as there may be opportunity for equipment loan depending on your personal circumstances.
