Introduction to the course

This hugely popular and successful course has been written in conjunction with Action for Happiness. Modern life often leaves us feeling anxious and exhausted due to family challenges, work pressures and worries about the future. Whatever our situation, there are practical things we can do to be happier and to cope better when things go wrong. This course will help you with tips and techniques to maintain good mental health and wellbeing and allow you to cope better with life's many challenges.

What will I learn?

You will learn about the 10 keys to happier living on this informal and friendly course which gives practical ideas and tips, based on proven scientific research. You will improve your wellbeing and be able to manage stress and anxiety levels better. You will be able to increase your resilience so when life becomes difficult you are able to bend and not break. After completing the 6 week course you will be invited to monthly refresher courses to keep you in good mental health.

What are the entry requirements?

None

What do I need to bring with me to class?

Pen and paper. For the online course you will need access to a computer, laptop or tablet and an internet connection. If you do not have the necessary IT equipment you can still apply for the course as there may be opportunity for equipment loan, depending on personal circumstances.

What can I do after my course has finished?
