Introduction to the course

This is a course for mixed abilities. You will learn how to use computers for everyday life, do basic text formatting, read and send emails and search the internet safely. You will be given tasks, according to your learning needs and interests. You will be given opportunities to discuss and present your ideas. Interactive games will be introduced which will also help with digital skills, spelling, grammar and memory. You do not need to bring your personal computer as we will provide all the equipment you need.

What can I do after my course has finished?

You can continue to develop your IT skills by continuing with this course next term, or you can progress to an entry or level 1 digital skills/IT course depending on your progress
