What can we cover in a session?

Off-road Control Skills

You will learn the basics of controlling a bike, build your skills and gain confidence to ride your bike in an off-road environment.

Road confidence cycle skills

Improve your cycling skills and confidence with a free session tailored to you. You will start in a safe, off-road environment to refresh your cycling technique and develop new skills before moving on to practice on quiet roads. Your qualified instructor will support you throughout to help you cycle more confidently.

On the road again - busier roads, commuting journeys

Perfect your cycling techniques, plan journeys, manage more complex junctions and receive assurance that you are cycling efficiently and effectively.

Family cycle skills

Gain confidence and learn skills to cycle as a family with a free family cycling session. In the session a qualified instructor will teach you how to cycle with children, using quiet routes and parks. These sessions offer the opportunity to build on or prepare for Bikeability skills taught in schools. We are unable to provide children's bikes for these sessions.
