Statement on power disruption at Guildhall complex - Oct 2024

A power disruption at the Guildhall offices is currently affecting some council phone lines and IT systems. The Guildhall 2 building is closed and parking at the Guildhall site is currently suspended until further notice.  

The Main Guildhall is open for key services (Adult Social Care and Children’s Services appointments) and emergencies (including housing emergency support). Residents needing access to computers are being redirected to our libraries. 

The council website is operating as usual for information and advice and log requests.

We are currently unable to update the ModGov site with committee papers and late material. In the interim papers will be published at kingston.gov.uk/committee-papers 

Council teams are working incredibly hard to get affected systems back up and running as soon as possible. Work is also ongoing to ensure any disruption is minimised and residents are able to access the services and support they need.
