Children and Young People's Plan
The Children and Young People’s Plan has been co-produced with children and young people who live and study in Kingston.
It will be delivered by Kingston Council, Achieving for Children, South West London NHS, Transport for London, the Metropolitan Police, schools, and local voluntary and community sector organisations.
We heard from lots of children and young people about what matters most to them, and what they would like the council and its partners to do to make Kingston a better place to grow up in.
From this, we developed the Children and Young People’s Plan, which sets out what we do to achieve this. We have created a comprehensive action plan which explains in detail what will be done.
Young people from Kingston Youth Forum will be involved in monitoring the progress, to make sure that by 2027, Kingston is a better place for children and young people to live, learn and grow up in.
Children and Young People’s Plan 2024-2027
Action Plan
Our action plan demonstrates our commitment to change, and explains what will be done and who will do it.
We will have monitoring meetings to track the progress every 6 months, and young people will be included. This means that the council and its partners remain accountable to children and young people throughout the duration of the plan.
We will share updates on this page of the progress we have made.
